    Hmmmmm, ... oddly quiet here.

What happened to all the posts previous?  I had some unanswered questions that have now vanished.  *Sigh*

Where O' where did it go?

KTVF reserves the right to remove content at its discretion.  Your questions were answered, but the subsequent posts needed to be removed, so we took down the whole thread.

No, my question(s) were never answered.  I simply asked who "polices" this site, since I saw many links that contained questionable content (i.e. adult content).  I don't believe these links to be the fault of any one at KTVF, however, from time to time, even the best blog and post sites have to deal with removing automated junk content.  Go to any of your picture posts links and see what I am talking about.   Again, who maintains the site?

Yes, actually, some of your questions were answered.

The photo with the spam comments was removed, as well as all the others I found when I searched the first time you brought it to my attention.  This system is supposed to notify me when comments are made, and for some reason it's not notifying me.

There is currently no one else but me who "polices" this site, and it's not my main job.  I do not go through every photo that is posted on a regular basis and check for comments because I simply don't have time.  I will try to rectify this situation (both the comment notification failure and the need for a dedicated policing agent).  If you find any others that have spam comments in the meantime, please copy the link into an email and send it to me so I can disable them.  (I did not find any while I was looking these last few minutes.)

Unfortunately when this spamming happens on a photo, the photo itself must be disabled, as there are literally hundreds of spam comments on each which would have to be deleted one at a time.

I don't want to have to disable photo comments, but if spam continues to be a problem, I won't have a choice.  Hopefully we can get it figured out.

    Thanks for your concern.

An update regarding site policing.  The error in the system which was preventing notification of comments placed on photos has been identified and fixed.  Also, in order to leave comments on photos, a person must be a registered user with The Loop at webcenter11.com.  This should help or at least cut way down on any further spam comments.  Thank you for your persistence in the matter, because we don't want to have content on our site which is blatantly offending people.
