    Driving and Cell Phones

Okay, I know there is legislation in other states that ban, or make it unlawful for teenagers to drive while on the cell phone.  I am unsure if the same is true here in Alaska.

My point is, why just limit it to teenagers.  I am so tired of getting "trapped" on a expressway or highway behind some idio...., (wait, I'll be nice), by some driver going 30 mph in a 55.  Don't get me wrong, I'm no speed demon, but I will drive the limit under proper road conditions.

Most people do not notice that when they are on the cell phone and driving, that they're speed slows ways down!  Further, they are so distracted they appear to be weaving much like a drunk driver.  Countless times I have passed drivers yapping on the cell phone and they are completely clueless as to their driving behavior.

So I say again, why limit this to just teenagers?  I'm all for cell phones and I don't wish for government to stick their nose into one more thing, ... but come on!  With today's technology, anyone can get an earpiece or bluetooth, or hands free device for their car!

Who is with me on this?
