And they’re off! All 6,000 rubber duckies race for the chance to win cash and prizes totaling over $20,000. On race day, the yellow duckies are dropped from the Wendell Street Bridge into the Chena River. The numbered duckies float downstream to the finish line at the Golden Heart Plaza at the Cushman St. Bridge. Prizes include: $10,000 cash, $5,000 cash, laptop computer, and much more. Look for the bright yellow signs in business windows or Goldie & Luckie the big, inflatable yellow ducks!
