Are you wondering what there is for kids to do this summer?
Come to the 2008 Summer Activity Fair and find out!
The Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation Department and KTVF are putting on a summer activity fair this year to enable parents to find fun and enriching activities for their children during the summer break. We’ve invited a number of camps and organizations to join us in order to provide a wide range of appeal. With a variety of options to choose from, we’ll make it easy for parents to go from table to table interviewing camp directors, looking at schedules and registering for the activities they like best.
If you’d like your business or organization to be part of the fair, give us a call! We want to make it easier on you, as well! We know that it’s often difficult to market your programs and services effectively be it from lack of time, resources or both. Let the broadcast power of KTVF work for you. We’re planning a heavy month-long promotional campaign to get everyone in the community aware of and excited about attending the 2008 Summer Activity Fair.
Sometimes a brochure doesn’t convey all the aspects and details of your summer camps and activities as much as you’d like. At our Summer Activity Fair, you’ll be face to face with your potential customers, and able to give them a better understanding of your program and what you have to offer. We want the fair to be fun and educational for those who attend. We encourage you to have demonstrations or bring materials that will allow kids to participate in a hands-on activity typical of your program!
Whether you’re a kid, parents, or someone that runs a summer program for kids, don’t miss the 2008 Summer Activity Fair April 19th 11 am - 3 pm at the Big Dipper. Free to the public. For more information call Nicia at 458-1856.
